What is Data Center Management?

Data center management becomes essentially important when it comes to protecting the data hosted in the data center to avoid any data breaches. Typically, data center management includes large data volumes along with the supporting hardware system that forms an organization’s distributed network. The hosted environment within a data center needs continuous monitoring; however, this is now becoming completely automated with advancements in technology.

The core functionalities in data center management usually involve an array of tasks. These include- upgradation of hardware and software, efficient management of data distribution and storage, deploying robust backup policies, and 24×7 technical assistance to the customers.
