Data Centre Business Picks up Pace in India and ESDS is among the Key Players
As per the news published in ET Tech, multiple industry sources estimate that the data center outsourcing market in India is currently pegged at close to $2 billion and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 25% to reach $5 billion by financial year 2023-24. The business of setting up large data centers, trudging along nicely over the years, has picked up pace lately. This news article mentions – ESDS Software Services, which started out with operations in Nashik, its home market, is now expanding in India and outside. “We were among the first firms to be empaneled with the government and are seeing a lot of business coming from Smart Cities; and public distribution schemes of many states connect to our cloud,” said Piyush Somani, CMD, ESDS Software Services.
