ESDS Awarded Young IT Professional Award - 2012, an endorsement for eNlight Cloud!
Nashik 7th February: ESDS Software Solution Pvt. Ltd.has won the prestigious Young IT Professional award for the year 2012 at a competition held at national level by Computer Society of India (CSI-Nashik Chapter). CSI President for Maharashtra & Goa, Mr. Chandrashekhar Sahasrabuddhe handed over the regional award to the ESDS team for their innovative eNlight Cloud Solution. The second prize was bagged by Persistent Systems, Pune for their big data analytics solution.
The annual competition was started in by CSI in 1999 to encourage innovation and excellence in the Information Technology field. The award felicitates outstanding achievements of young IT professionals below the age of 35. The event is an opportunity for engineers, researchers and entrepreneurs from the IT field to showcase their expertise, professional prowess and excellence.
This year, eight teams from leading IT organizations across Maharashtra & Goa participated in the competition held in the campus of Sandip Foundation, Nashik.
ESDS Software Solution Team, comprising of Mr. Rushikesh Jadhav and Mr. Hussain Dahodwala presented their innovation,"eNlight Cloud" which bagged the first award.
According to the developers, "eNlight Cloud" is an innovative cloud computing solution which has features such as Vertical Auto-scaling, High Performance & Pay-per-consume. This patented product has the capability to adjust the amount of CPU and RAM of a server without downtime, which sets it apart from other solutions in the cloud computing industry. The advanced resource predicting algorithm enables cloud servers to constantly give high performance at highly optimized costs.
With this win, the team has qualified for the National round of the competition which will be held on 6th March at PSG College of Technology, Coimbator, Tamilnadu.
Speaking about the achievement, Mr Piyush Somani (MD & CEO, ESDS Software Solution) said, "I congratulate our team on this prestigious win. We emerged victorious in a competition where some of the best and highly renowned IT organizations in India had participated. The distinguished panel of judges included Mr. Pradeep Pendse (Dean, IT Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai), R.S. Tiwari (Director,School of Computer ScienceYashwantrao Chavan Open University, Nashik), and Mrs. Aarti Dixit (HOD Computer Engineering, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune)
Each team had 20 minutes to present their innovation, followed by a Q&A round. The other notable teams included Cyber Age Pvt. Ltd, Nashik (Control Panel Management), Netwin Systems, Nashik (Places Near You), Soft Corner, Pune (Project X Social Networking), Icertis, Pune (Cloud Application), Bharat Petroleum Ltd (Wet Stock Management), IIT Bombay (Mobile SIM Card Security).
