About
The Ratnagiri District Central Co-operative Bank (RDCCB) started its operations on 5th December 1957. The bank was established for significant enhancement of economic condition of farmers and other needy people in the district after independence. The Ratnagiri District Central Co-operative Bank finances farmers, employee’s co-operative credit societies, housing societies, labour co-operative societies, industrial co-operative societies, self-help groups and other government schemes which are useful for eradicating poverty. The bank operates 82 branches and 6 divisional offices in the region
The Challenge
The Ratnagiri District Central Co-operative Bank’s Core Banking Solution (CBS) was hosted with a well-known Cloud Service Provider (CSP) but RDCCB were continuously facing hosting issues along with interruptions in data center services. In terms of data center services, the bank was facing issues with existing CSP in terms of audit and DR drill activities which were not documented & updated.
The Solution

More than 320+ private, PSUs, micro finance, district central co-operatives, rural and scheduled banks are hosted on BFSI Community Cloud and in an Uptime Certified Tier III data center. Built on ESDS eNlight Cloud, BFSI Community Cloud follows all the compliances such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001:2013, ISO 20000-1:2011 and ISO 22301:2012.
