Sindhudurg District Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. (DCCB) established on 1st July 1983 acts as the apex district central co-operative bank for entire district of Sindhudurg under Section 18 C of the MSC Act 1960. The bank plays a very important role in financial sector of Sindhudurg district and is also known as farmer’s bank where various schemes are implemented in the interest of farmers. Sindhudurg DCCB is the first co-op bank in the state which has issued crop loans at 6% interest rate and has announced the best loan schemes for agricultural purposes in comparison to other co-op banks.
