Introduction

ESDS has fueled this Smart City Project of Bhubaneshwar as they wanted a cloud who is MeitY and Govt. of India empanelled. Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) is the nodal agency to plan, implement, manage and operate the Smart City Development Projects in the city.

The Challenge

They wanted a public cloud which was MeitY empaneled to function within 30 days. Honeywell wanted a partner which can run, maintain, and manage their infrastructure. So, they chose ESDS and we did the complete setup of the MeitY empaneled public within 30 days with all the applications.

Benefits Enjoyed by the Client

  • Auto-Scalable Infrastructure – they can add more virtual machines, servers into the architecture to handle more load.
  • The Project Commitment is for 3 years
  • It is under Phase I so the requirement is less, around 40 TB but later on they will be needing more than 500 TB of storage space and more infrastructure.
