A single-site failure does not touch your DR. A multi-site simultaneous failure has never occurred in twenty years of operations. Hot Standby: near-zero RPO, under 15 minutes RTO. Warm Standby: 15 minute RPO, 1 to 4 hour RTO. Cold Backup: 24 hour RPO, 4 to 24 hour RTO.
