Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is a society that has been set up by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under the Indian Government in the year 1991. STPI was set up to encourage, promote and boosting the software and hardware exports taking from India. With this underlying objective, STPI center have been set up PAN-India. In Karnataka, the head jurisdiction lies in the city of Bengaluru, and its sub-center are situated at- Mysuru, Mangaluru, Manipal, and Hubbali.

STPI has been proactively involved for creating an ecosystem that supports the IT, ITES and ESDM industries. This enables the IT industry to utilize its maximum potential and head the country towards growth and prosperity.

The STPI center situated at Bengaluru and its sub-center are responsible for offering the following services-

  • Statutory Services: A single window agency for implementing the STP and EHTP Schemes.
  • Internet, Data Center and Cloud Services: Enabling secure global reach with flexibility.
  • Project Management and Consultancy Services: IT-enabled business operations.
  • Incubation Services: For nurturing entrepreneurship.
