Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst (BA) with 3 to 6 years of experience to work at the intersection of business strategy and advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, technical acumen, and communication skills to translate complex business challenges into cutting-edge technology solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to drive innovation and deliver impactful applications powered by AI/ML.

Responsibilities

Business and Requirement Analysis:

  • Engage with stakeholders to identify business challenges, gather detailed requirements, and explore opportunities for leveraging AI/ML and LLM solutions.
  • Conduct process analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility studies to align business needs with technological capabilities.
  • Document clear, actionable functional and technical requirements, including user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Build business cases and cost-benefit analyses to prioritize AI/ML initiatives.

AI/ML and LLM Project Management:

  • Collaborate with data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and developers to conceptualize, design, and refine AI/ML-driven solutions.
  • Define business logic, model objectives, and evaluation criteria for AI/ML and LLM implementations.
  • Assist in developing prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate the feasibility and impact of solutions.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in AI/ML and LLM technologies to identify new opportunities for business transformation.

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment on objectives, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and reviews to gather inputs and validate requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate progress, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Work with product managers to shape feature roadmaps and prioritize technology initiatives.

Data-Driven Insights and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for evaluating the success of AI/ML solutions.
  • Analyze datasets to uncover insights, identify patterns, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Use data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create interactive dashboards for monitoring AI/ML model performance.
  • Provide strategic input on leveraging AI/ML to optimize workflows, improve customer experiences, and enhance operational efficiency.

Testing, Implementation, and Monitoring:

  • Collaborate with QA teams to design and execute test cases for validating AI/ML solutions against business requirements.
  • Support the deployment of AI/ML systems into production environments, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
  • Monitor deployed models for performance, accuracy, and reliability, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Create user guides, training materials, and best practices documentation to support stakeholders in utilizing AI/ML applications effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Core Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts such as supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, and LLMs, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with Python-based AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML cloud services from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, including process mapping, SWOT analysis, and root cause analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in creating detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement specifications (FRSs), and workflows.

Analytical and Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms for presenting business insights.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, data pipelines, and integrations for deploying AI/ML models.
  • Ability to design and validate KPIs to measure business impact and technical success.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to projects involving LLMs for conversational AI, chatbots, or content generation.
  • Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI, including bias mitigation, transparency, and explainability.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks for managing technology projects.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
