Job Description:
  • Front line support via live chat & telephones.
  • Troubleshooting a variety of technical & non-technical issues of customers with regards to their web hosting plans & services.
  • Providing technical support for Level I issues via helpdesk & the telephone.
  • To monitor and audit shared servers.
  • Server setup which includes vps, VM, Vlite and Dedicated servers.
  • Monitoring servers for stability & taking both proactive & reactive measures to correct & prevent issues.
  • Providing fellow system administrators & support representatives with technical support & guidance.
  • Assisting clients in transferring accounts to ours servers.
  • Installing, configuring, & maintaining services such as Apache, MySQL, & Exim on servers.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Knowledge of basics and fundamentals of Linux/control panel.
  • Good hands on Linux Shell commands
  • Knowledge of r1soft and FTP backups.
  • Knowledge of Virtuozzo, VMware servers.
  • Upgrade self knowledge with updated technologies.
  • The ability to work both in team and also perform independently.
  • Customer support skills, confidence and positive attitude.
