The automobile industry currently contributes <strong>nearly 6.7%<\/strong> to the national GDP, and is expected to reach <strong>12%<\/strong> by the year 2026. Not only in terms of GDP, the automobile industry is forecasted to be one of the largest sectors who\u2019ll provide employment opportunities in the future. Under the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for the 2006-16 plan, the employment in this industry accounted for <strong>25 million<\/strong> newer jobs. The Centre has launched an app named <strong>NissanConnectApp, <\/strong>that is available in India.
