Hosted Model

The new pay-per-use and hosted model of SAP is designed to provide enterprise SAP solution to small and medium sized companies with very low upfront costs, unlike the traditional way of investing huge amount into the IT hardware and SAP licenses before setting up the SAP application. This means that the customer is no longer required to buy any IT hardware or the software licenses for being a part of the SAP world. The customer is also free from maintaining the SAP application and has an advantage of 24x7 online support for any emergency or support. Additionally, the SAP is hosted in a state-of-art infrastructure offering all the benefits of Tier III datacenter and not in their own premises, saving the space and the cost to maintain it. Above all, with ESDS hosted SAP solutions, companies get a user friendly and easily customizable business process application.

The Hosted model of SAP is built upon the technology of Fujitsu’s Flex Frame in combination of other providers like HP & DELL. Flex Frame is a platform explicitly designed especially for the hosted SAP Business Suite. With Flex Frame, Fujitsu are the first to provide an adaptive platform for SAP computing and compliant with SAP technology.

ESDS offerings for hosted SAP / ERP model provides 2 types of pay-per-use billing options. This gives freedom to the customer to choose between any of them as per their requirement and usage pattern. The 2 different models are:

Pay-per-User: With this model, customer is charged monthly as per the number of users they have used and the amount of RAM + CPU utilized for that particular month. This model is favourable for those clients who do not have too many users and their application consumes high resources on very rare occasions.

Pay per SAPS used: With this model, the total number of SAPs utilized by the customer to run the application is calculated and charged accordingly. This is an ideal solution for customers who have high number of SAP user requirements, but since the size of the application and its database is very small, it does not require a lot of computing power.
