ESDS takes a step ahead with it's Network Connectivity

ESDS has improvised its network connectivity in its data centers to provide much-needed bandwidth required for crucial corporate applications such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), Telepresence and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. As part of ESDS's comprehensive strategy, standardizing and simplifying data center infrastructure is a critical component for customers. The data center had DS3 now it is upgraded to STM1 Bandwidth.

With the upgrade to STM1 bandwidth. ESDS has taken one step ahead to provide more flexible and better services to clients. Feature are explained as, the STM-1 (Synchronous Transport Module level-1) is the SDH ITU-T fiber optic network transmission standard. It has a bit rate of 155.52 Mbit/s. ESDS has Internet Lease Line bandwidth of 3x155mbps which is in total equals to 465mbps.

We have multiple ISPs like TATA, Reliance and Bharti. Fiber optics of each ISP comes in a ring way from two different geographical locations to provide better uptime. we are running BGP4 protocol to provide redundancy among these ISPs. It has got MPLS network of TATA Communication to provide MPLS connectivity to their customers. All the equipments which are placed by ISPs are dual powered, redundant and eco-friendly as well. They also have multiple fiber ducts in their premises for fiber redundancy.

ESDS has also developed Emagic portal which shows the current status of ESDS data center network in terms of latency to different geographical regions. ESDS believes in complete transparency and thus wants its clients to have access to its network status. The client can see the average latency to different data centers from ESDS data center and as well as its shows uptime of ESDS Network. Clients can easily view ESDS network status through an interface at any time without getting in touch with ESDS technical support. This is a useful tool when a client faces slowness while accessing his server in ESDS data center.
