100% business availability : Our DRaS solution enables real time data replication between the master and slave site and the usage of a virtual network helps to overcome the DNS and IP restrictions at the time of disaster. Thus as soon as the main site reports a down time, all the traffic is directed to the DR site in no time. This process happens automatically and does not need any human intervention.

Similarly, the restoration process is enabled. As soon as the main site is up, data automatically gets restored from the DR site. If main site has some data on it, then DRaS will copy only the updated data. However, the traffic will get directed to the main site only when the administrator confirms successful restore of the main site.

Extremely low investment : Since DRaS is built using our eNlight Cloud platform, it is based on a pay-per-use model that gives high flexibility and control to the users. The entire setup can be built at only 10% of your main site cost.

It saves cost as in “normal state” server utilizes very low resources and you pay only for the resources that you use while replicating the data.

Enterprises that have more than one data center globally need not have equal number of DR sites for each Data Center . They can setup only one DR site as their largest setup in a different seismic zone and use it as DR for all the other Data Centers. Since the resources required to replicate the data would be very low, all DR can be hosted in the same Cloud. In case of disaster the virtual machines that hold the data will automatically scale to provide business continuity and other VMs will continue to replicate data from the main site. The VM will scale down automatically as soon as the main site is restored.

If a disaster occurs on more than one site, it is very simple to add more servers in the cloud to cope up with the demand and easily remove them without affecting the performance or operation of any VM.
